- Create or modify technical specifications to meet business requirements that adhere to best practices.
- Research SAP modules and design data extraction strategy (ABAP layer) and design DW Bus Architecture Documents (BusArch) to house this data.
- Build, test and maintain SAP Business Objects Data Services Ver (BODS) jobs that will include CDS views for delta data loads in to the DW.
- Based on BusArch documentation create new SSIS packages.
- Unit test changes and Manage Deployments to minimize risk and downtime.
- Manage application development projects with routine guidance.

- Minimum of 7-10 years of practical Data Warehousing experience(required).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of SAP Business Objects Data Services experience (required).
- Microsoft SQL Server 2019 (T-SQL): SSIS (Required) SSAS (Preferred) (DAX and MDX a plus)
- Microsoft SQL Management Studio and Visual Studio Team System, TFS 2019 or GIT.
- Microsoft Excel including PowerPivot (Preferred).
- SAP experience such as SAP S4 (HANA) (Required).
- Job Associated Microsoft, SAP or other relevant certifications desired
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical design documentation.
- High level of initiative, self-starter, flexible, proactive and team player.
- Strong communication skills including facilitation, presentation, and documentation (written and spoken).
- Must be able to resolve complex problems, effectively manage customer expectations, and execute to tight timelines with minimal supervision.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

Job Summary
The Data Warehouse Architect/Developer utilizes Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, (SSIS) SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) and other SAP tools to help with the migration from our legacy source systems to SAP S4 HANA source systems. The existing Microsoft SQL Server Data Warehouse (DW) will be retained and retooled. The DW developer must have a solid understanding of Data Warehouse best practices (Strict Kimball), Relational Structure, Dimensional Data Modeling, Structured Query Language (SQL) and Reporting Techniques, including data sourcing and transformation. They will also need to possess strong in-depth knowledge of SAP 4 HANA ABAP layer and expert knowledge of Business Objects Data Services (BODS). The right candidate will have sufficient experience to review DW designs from more junior staff and provide feedback. This is an individual contributor role, and takes direction from the Sr. Manager of Business Applications
