Description
Five Star Energy Services, LLC is seeking a Payroll Specialist with some HR Generalist experience to work on-site in our Waukesha office.
This position will primarily focus on payroll functions as well as providing generalist support in various human resources functions.We are looking for a detail-oriented individual that demonstrates the ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures all timecards are received and accurate.
- Accurately processes status change forms.
- Communicates known changes to other business areas new jobs, closed jobs, etc.
- Handles all creditor garnishments and child support orders.
- Resolves any discrepancies with job assignments/costing and reports information to finance for proper allocation.
- Prepares monthly union reports including requesting and sending payments.
- Reports all I9 information via government website and/or payroll software.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
- Supports HR functions such as recruitment and onboarding.
- Assists with posting job openings and scheduling interviews
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years experience processing payroll in Construction is required.
- Experience with multistate and multiunion processing.
- Proficiency in payroll software, HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in processing garnishments and child support orders.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all internal and external customers, both written and verbal.
- Experience with HR Generalist activities such as recruitment, benefits and general HRIS functions.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
