    Description
    Senior Fund Controller | Multi-Strategy Investment Firm
    • Boston, MAOur client is a multi billion dollar alternative asset manager that utilizes various strategies to meet their investors objectives.
    They are currently seeking a Senior Fund Controller for their credit arm that will help build out this team and report into the CFO.

    This position will work 3 days/week out of their office in downtown Boston and is targeting a base salary in the $140k-$160k range plus 25% bonus.


    Responsibilities:


    Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements and partners capital statements across fund vehiclesCoordination of the valuation process and preparation of associated papers for valuation committeeIdentify potential improvements to the operational processes and activities of the team, proposing and leading implementation of methods for more efficient and effective working across the operating platformsOversee the preparation and dissemination of fund vehicle distributions and capital callsPartner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful operational delivery.

    Determine and apply best operating practices to ensure efficiency is maximizedWork closely with independent auditors, especially during the preparation of the year-end audited financial statementsQualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA license preferred6-10 years of private credit experience in private or public accountingFluent in Microsoft Office suite of productsAbility to identify and manage operational riskDemonstrates responsibility and accountabilityThis is a full-time, hybrid position with a salary range of $140k-$160k base plus 25% bonus.
