- Installation and Configuration (40%): Execute the rollout and installation of workstation software and hardware by adhering to established policies and procedures. Manage software updates, computer setups, and peripheral devices across various locations.
- Maintenance (40%): Ensure the upkeep of workstation hardware and software by addressing faulty hardware and software issues. Manage inventory, order replacement parts, and ensure proper licensing of tools and equipment.
- Data Backup and User Assistance (20%): Perform data backups and restorations as needed. Provide user assistance with equipment-related queries, conduct software testing, and evaluate new software and hardware solutions.
- Dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires around-the-clock responsiveness to meet customer demands.
- Team currently consists of 14 members.
- Responsible for new hire and replacement deployments, which involve PC setups, peripheral installations, software installations, and asset imaging.
- Occasional handling of items weighing up to 30 lbs, and up to 70 lbs at times.
- Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or 2 years of relevant work experience.
- A Certification is a plus.
- 1 year of experience in technical operations support is preferred.
- Review incoming work/requests from customers daily.
- Coordinate with customers to validate orders for each deployment.
- Organize work orders, merge data, and create build sheets using OneNote.
- Collaborate with the imaging lab to initiate the imaging process.
