**Job Summary:**
Raytheon Missile Defense (RMD) has an opportunity for a Semiconductor Lead Equipment Engineer. As the Thin Singulate Equipment Engineering Lead the qualified candidate must have the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of semiconductor processing equipment within the Thin Singulate Work Center including bonding tools, plating baths, scribe and break tools, wet chemistry solvent and acid spray tools, and grinders. This includes experience with vacuum, exhaust, electrical, electro-mechanical, RF/ microwave, chemical systems typically found in a semiconductor operation. Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience.

**Responsibilities to Anticipate:**
Actively participate in continuous improvement activity, specifically with SPC and FDC controls of critical inputs to the manufacturing process and will work to improve up time performance on assigned systems
Ensure equipment availability by implementing corrective actions for hardware and software related equipment issues through hands on and leading a team of indirect employees assigned to the work center
Support of emergency response team (ERT).
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
A University Degree with 5 years prior experience maintaining semiconductor manufacturing equipmen t, or an advanced degree and 3 years of related experience or in the absence of a degree, 9 years of related experience is required.
**Qualifications We Value:**
Must be able to perform related hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment
Must have a fundamental understanding of SPC/FDC controls with the ability to implement SPC/FDC control plans on new equipment installations
Must be able to lead a team spread over multiple shifts
Must be able to manage and track vendor and supplier activities
Must be able to read schematics, engineering and technical drawings
Capable of identifying and use basic electronic test equipment and common hand/power tools
Must be able to organize and complete projects individually or in a team environment
Must be able to work in clean room environment
Proficient use of MS Office products
Available during periods of shutdowns for shutdown/startup support
Familiar with SEMI 10 semiconductor standards
Related experience as a hand-on Equipment Maintenance Technician/ Engineer maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment
Adherence to environmental health and safety programs including electrical safety, gas safety, hazardous materials, material handling and limiting.
Technical Military Training / Experience is highly desirable.
