Join our team We are innovating the future of clean air We have a full-time opportunity available for a technically savvy Materials Manager with manufacturing warehouse management experience, to join our team.

Responsibilities include management and oversight of the transportation of materials, and the movement of inventory, including the associated system transactions.

Manage the ERP and MRP system and the accuracy of transactional flow.

This is a broad-based, hands-on onsite role in a small, collaborative, entrepreneurial, dynamic manufacturing environment. Day shift.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Coordinate transportation of materials including supervising packaging, and communicating with customers and freight carriers as needed
  • Ensure images of product are taken prior to transport
  • Maintain optimum inventory levels
  • Oversee the movement of inventory, to include:
  • Receipt; including counting, storage and transaction processing
  • Kit and move inventory to the line, including transaction processing
  • Receive finished goods from the line, closing MO's and completing the job cycle
  • Transfer materials to vendors as needed and complete transactions in the MRP system
  • Ship product to end users, and complete transactions in the ERP and MRP system
  • Ensure the accuracy of processed transactions for all movements of inventory; create reports on transaction errors and the steps taken for corrective action
  • Manage the MRP and ERP system. As internal ERP SME, provide technical guidance to team members across the company
  • Oversee document control and BOMs, including updates and changes identified by the shop/floor, and collaborating with our engineering team on BOM updates
  • Manage variances between issued product and the bills of materials, to include identifying root cause of errors and establishing the corrective action plan
  • Schedule, pull and transact material to production, while minimizing material flow in an efficient manner
  • Coordinate kitting product for the production floor, issue product to the floor, receive the finished product back into the warehouse and store the product
  • Coordinate with team members to move/dispose of inventory out of MRB
  • Participate in cycle counts
  • Follow lean manufacturing protocols and continuous process improvements
  • Maintain a safe, clean and orderly warehouse
  • Retrieve and deliver materials to local suppliers as needed
  • Other duties as assigned, as business needs demand

Requirements:


  • 10+ years of progressively successful handson experience in manufacturing warehouse materials management. BS degree and small company experience preferred
  • Strong inventory management
  • Experience with procurement, supply chain management and supplier management, preferably with an industrial manufacturer
  • Experience working in a high mix / low volume manufacturing environment
  • Solid shop/floor experience
  • Technically proficient and savvy, with a thorough understanding of the flow of transactions through an ERP system, including investigating information
  • Proven ability in readily mastering an ERP system, and providing ERP technical guidance to team members across an organization
  • Strong computer skills, to include MS Office
  • Experience with electromechanical systems and components
  • Ability and willingness to use and rely on our existing processes and established guidelines in the performance of the work, with proven experience creating new processes and continuous process improvements
  • Must be able to lift, move and carry lbs.
  • Must be regularly able to stand, walk, sit, bend, crouch and reach
  • Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, communication, multitasking, time management, problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Flexible, teamplayer, comfortable working in a small, collaborative, fastpaced environment
  • Must have a clean, valid US driver's license
  • Must be able to work onsite in our Franklin, MA facility, M-F day shift, with flexibility for additional hours during peak times
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically approximately 10%
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
