- CACI is seeking a Systems Engineer (Senior) to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.
- Develops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems.
- Perform complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.
- Oversees complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Performs complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.
- Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.
- Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology.
- May coach and provide guidance to less experienced professionals.
- May serve as a team or task lead. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- BA/BS or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
- 8+ years of related systems engineering experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required and eligibility to obtain a CI poly REQUIRED SKILLS * Linux system administrator
- Scripting / Coding (Bash, Python, etc)
- Kubernetes
- Ansible
- Helm charts
- Automation DESIRED SKILLS
- A deep expertise in one of the following areas and working knowledge of one or more of the other following:
- Operational support
- Virtualization technologies (VMware, virtual networking, vROPS, XenServer/XCP-ng)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux, YUM, Satellite, Capsule technologies
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Ceph storage platform
- Git
