Full-time on-site position at the customer location in Springfield, VA
Security Clearance:
TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
Highly technical role providing pre/post-sales Engineering Design/Architecture, Operational, and Support of Juniper products within the customer infrastructure
The candidate must have a detailed understanding of protocols used for IP service provider networks and can demonstrate technical expertise in the configuration, troubleshooting and operation of IP based routers, switches, and security devices
Juniper products to be supported:
MX, EX, QFX, SRX Qualifications:
Deep understanding of routing and switching protocols: OSPF, BGP/MP-BGP, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN, TCP/UDP/IP, IGMP v1/2/3, LLDP, LACP, MVPN, RSVP, and LDP
Direct knowledge of L2 and L3 multicast deployments
Expert level understanding of Ethernet and Layer 2 protocols that are used in Data Center environments
Experience installing and operating IP routers (Juniper preferred) and operating management tools and network analyzers
Comfortable configuring, operating, and troubleshooting Juniper devices and associated protocols
Basic understanding and knowledge of firewall filters and how to create/apply in the configuration of a Juniper device
Experience with automation technologies that are used in the Networking environment. For example, creating and using Ansible playbooks to deploy configurations to networking devices
Certifications such as JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, CCIE a plus
Python or other scripting language is desirable Ideal Strengths:

Ability to effectively communicate case status updates and deliver root cause analysis
Support informal and formal technology briefings and training sessions
