  • 05:00pm.*****We are seeking an energetic, personable, positive, and detailoriented professional to join our team as the IT Technician at ONEgeneration. ONEgeneration is a wellrespected communitybased nonprofit that provides vital intergenerational programs and services to seniors, children, kinship families, and other vulnerable community members. This position requires day to day interaction with staff, volunteers, and members of the community to support many of their technological needs. This position will also work closely under the supervision of the Controller as well as the remote IT management firm. Someone who is an efficient and effective problem solver and can perform the duties listed below would be ideal for this position.

Main Responsibilities:


  • Desktop/Hardware Support
  • Primary PC/Windows administrator (including remote management, updates, antivirus)
  • Primary printer/copier technician (including procurement, setup, vendor management, supplies ordering, disposal of copier ink toner supplies)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues with technology including:
  • Program Devices (Mac/PC laptops/desktops, iPads, Chromebooks, etc.)
  • A/V (projectors, audio systems)
  • Security (surveillance and other low voltage assets)
  • Printers and Copiers
  • Phone System
  • Basic networking (monitor and maintain network and servers)
  • Upgrade, install and configure new hardware and software to meet organization's objectives and needs.
  • Implement security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats and ensure system security and integrity.
  • Create user accounts and perform access control and support needed training of staff on log in protocols (account or system login and password management)
  • Perform diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize systems operations.
  • Develop data retrieval and recovery procedures.
  • Assist field and end users with safe and efficient remote computing resources and access connections.
  • Support remote IT management vendor with onsite hardware and software needs and troubleshooting.
  • Manage and troubleshoot internet service connections and service providers, speed and access at multiple locations and various ISP providers and connections.

IT Asset Procurement:


  • Manage annual and ongoing hardware, software, and IT supply purchases.
  • Maintain vendor relationships.

Event Setup and Support:


  • Set up IT portion for requested events.
  • Provide atevent assistance as needed/requested, including IT, Video, Audio, software platforms for events and organizations utilizing organization's facilities.
  • Video Conferencing, Livestream, A/V Recording support, including configuration and testing.
  • Note: Events/setup may take place outside of standard hours and/or potentially offsite

Inventory Management:


  • Organization and upkeep of physical assets including IT related equipment, facility vehicles, and all other capitalized or fixed assets, including proper installation documentation, asset tagging, inventory tracking, periodic inventory audit counts, and proper disposal processes.
  • Maintenance and auditing of digital IT assets.
  • Manage Ewaste process.
  • Assist with vehicle (EV) fleet, orientation for new drivers, trouble shoot software related issues, registration and EV charging access and management. Monitor vehicles via mobile app.
  • Work with Nutrition, Transportation, and Facilities to ensure proper monitoring of vehicle condition, needed repairs and upgrades, and recommended maintenance milestones.

Telecommunications Support:


  • Administer VoIP phone system, coordinate with Phone vendor for phone system upkeep and maintenance and upgrade.
  • Provide support for new staff phone installations, trouble shoot phone system interruptions and user issues.
  • Generate and resolve phone issue troubleshoot assist tickets via web portal and support staff.
  • Manage and troubleshoot internet service connections and service providers, speed and access at multiple locations and various ISP providers and connections.
Work with ISP providers and local low voltage vendor to install, repair and expand internet and other remote connections.

  • Software portal administrator for program specific purchased or subscriptionbased software management solutions, including ETO software, Social Solutions Global CRM, and Paylocity kiosks
  • Zoom remote access program administrator to help manage paid subscription service, technical issues, access, billing, log in, and other functionality.
  • Assist as needed with facility rentals, contact follow up, assess rental or use requests, work on final rental terms including negotiation of fees, complete rental agreements, coordinate with facilities staff for usage / rental event dates and usage.
