Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate and set up manual machining equipment to produce precision parts according to detailed specifications. Your expertise will help ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
Duties
. 3+ year experience in manual machining
· Experience with manual lathes, mills and other general shop tools.
· Must know and have the ability to research necessary machining standards (i.e. feeds, speeds, thread pitches, tool geometries, raw material specification etc.)
· Must be organized, detail conscious, deadline driven and multi-project oriented.
· Must understand how to work in a fast paced production environment.
· Team player and works well with others.
· Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read complex blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, tooling setups, and welding equipment safely.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
