Overview:

Slot Technician


It is the responsiblity of the Slot Technician to provide fast, friendly service while performing repairs and preventative maintenance on slot matchines.


Responsibilities:


  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures
  • Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service
  • Ensure all slot machines on the casino floor are operating according to company standards
  • Maintain confidentiality of all Golden Nugget information including business processes, customer lists and any other confidential information
  • Perform preventive maintenance, modifications and relocation of slot machines and peripheral devices
  • Rebuild parts/equipment during down time, and maintains the parts inventory as assigned
  • Circulate through assigned area performing repairs as necessary
  • Ensure that all slot/storage areas are clean and organized
  • Responsible for the setup and testing new slot product
  • Responsible for the security of keys and all issued tools and equipment to perform functions of the position
  • Complete all regulatory/operational documents thoroughly and legibly
  • Performs other duties or projects as required
  • Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of slot repair experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be able to obtain a required state Casino Employee Registration
