Job Summary and Qualifications:


The Operating Room Technician is a non-licensed skilled and experienced person who is responsible under the direct supervision of a registered nurse for selected tasks in the administration of patient care within the operating room suite.


  • You will assist with surgical procedures in scrub duties
  • You will assist in the orientation, training, and education of new personnel
  • You will assist in maintaining safe and aseptic environment for all patients
  • You will need to perform all related duties as assigned and directed
  • You will facilitate the provision of individualized patient care

What qualifications you will need:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of Surgical Technologist course
  • Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
  • Oneyear experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care facility required
  • Three years additional training or experience in multiple specialties preferred
  • Current BCLS certification
