Structural Engineer-In-Training - Become an employee-owner today

As a Structural Engineer-In-Training, you will perform routine aspects of structural engineering assignments, gain familiarity with building materials, building components, software programs, and the firm's high-quality design standards. To do this you will:

have experience in the production of design documents, specifically of structural systems and building design
ensure all drawings are prepared with accuracy and neatness
estimate time needed to complete assignments
manage time in order to meet project requirements

Minimum requirements for this position include:

2-5 years of experience performing structural design and drafting in a design firm
4-year college degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering
Knowledge of basic engineering terminology required
Excellent verbal and written skills required
Must be able to work in-office 50% of weekly schedule.

Preferred requirements include:

Civil Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certificate

Compensation:

The expected salary range for this role is $ $35.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, business needs, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
