Your Tasks and Responsibilities

Performing Mechanical Design and guiding the mechanical aspects of development processes of various enclosures and fixtures for a broad range of IoT wireless devices in Calwa
Collaborating with team members from different disciplines, such as Electronics, Project Management, Manufacturing stakeholders, field support, and suppliers in Calwa
Performing Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) simulations and analysis for design validation and troubleshooting in Calwa
Prototyping, designing, and executing experiments in Calwa
Issuing technical drawings, defining fabrication processes, materials and finishing standards and performing tolerance analyses in Calwa

Degree (Uni./FH) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or similar in Calwa
2-3 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering / Product Design and in Injection Molding, ideally with electronics related products in Calwa
Proficient with CAD software (SolidWorks) and basic experience with CAE software for structural, modal, thermal analysis (SolidWorks, SimScale) in Calwa
Good knowledge of tolerance stack-up analysis (1D is necessary, 2D beneficial) in Calwa
