MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

DIRECT HIRE (FRANKLIN, IN)_Starting Pay_ :$34.

- $3681/hr_Available Shifts_ :

3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Description:You will be expected to provide industrial Electrical/Mechanical expertise and assist in the development and implementation of processes to maintain proper utilization and functionality.

We require advanced knowledge in exercising discretion and sound judgment with regard to your teammates, time management and services provided as a part of your daily routine.

You will have knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated equipment and robotic systems, including the utilization of 480vac, 240vac, 120vac, and 48vdc, 24vdc, VFDs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

Rectify electro-mechanical faults and specialist technical assistance as a support technician Respond to emergency calls Provide emergency breakdown and specialist maintenance support Handle set up and calibration of precision automation equipment Achieve performance in terms of expected output, speed of response, quality of repair and standards of workmanship Provide experience and expertise in the installation of conveyor and precision automation equipment Maintain quality of service by ensuring effective communication with customers Ensure that reports are well written and legible Execute site quality procedures, safety procedures, and any statutory procedures Provide specialist maintenance service support to the Customer's installed system Ensure that all spare parts usage issues are logged appropriately and promptly with the Spare Parts team Ensure proper care and maintenance of the tooling and equipment are provided Experience in mechanical strip-down/re-assembly, basic field wiring, machine calibration and system testing Ability to work against a timeframe to complete reactive repairs Interact with on-site management keeping them informed of repair and maintenance progression and addressing their concerns in a professional manner Show hands-on ownership of issues to achieve a quick time resolution
Additional Skills & Qualifications:_Must Haves_ : Mechanical Troubleshooting - Gear boxes, rollers, motors Electrical Troubleshooting - 24v; AC/DC knowledge; ability to use volt meter_Nice to Haves_ : Conveyor Maintenance PLC or Robotic Troubleshooting
