    We have a fantastic opportunity for a Firearms Sales Associate in our Retail Store.

    In this position the Firearms Sales Associate is responsible for learning and understanding Point of Sales (registers) and the Acquisition and Disposition system.

    Assist customers in making firearms and firearm accessory purchasing decisions, properly filling out required Federal Form 4473 and accurately maintain the store Acquisition and Disposition book.


    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Assist customers in making firearms purchasing decisions by recommending and describing products.
    Process customer firearm orders within the retail outlet store.
    Understanding of requirements to sell/purchase firearms.
    Maintain 100% accuracy in the retail outlet store acquisition and disposition book.
    Fill out the dealer's portion of Federal Form 4473 with 100% accuracy.
    Assist in maintaining firearm inventory levels within the retail store.
    Assist in the yearly physical inventory along with weekly/daily cycle counts of firearms inventory.


    QUALIFICATIONS:


    High School Diploma or EquivalentSelf-Motivated & Detail OrientedRetail experience in the sporting goods industry with an emphasis on firearmsFirearms and Firearm Accessory knowledge is requiredCash Register or Point of Sales Experience preferredStrong communication skillsProduct knowledge of Sportsman's Guide product preferredBasic computer knowledgeMust be able to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
