The Field Service Hydraulic Technician will perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on hydraulic equipment and maintain a variety of mechanical equipment.

Preventative maintenance should be conducted in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations.

The main responsibility of this role is to troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning high tonnage jack systems, determine possible causes for malfunctions, and perform repairs.


Qualifications

Requirements for our Field Service Technician positions include:

  • Self-starter able to work with limited supervision.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a desire to learn.
  • Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office products and able to learn/use service software. Able to complete service reports and provide pertinent details for work orders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to read and understand operating manuals.
  • Wear protective equipment (such as hard hat, steel toe shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection)
  • Work outside in all weather conditions
  • Work hours may vary in length and schedule (may include a nonstandard work week)
  • Able to work overtime as required by job and customer demand.
  • Travel and overnight stays will be required.
  • The applicant selected for this position will be required to successfully complete a background check and drug test.


Physical requirements must be met for the Field Service Hydraulic Technician jobs, including the ability to lift, carry and maneuver items up to 50 pounds, including bulky objects.

These positions require repeated reaching, standing, stooping, kneeling, bending and climbing beside, onto, and under a variety of equipment.
