- RF Circuit Design: Assist in the design and development of RF circuits, including amplifiers, filters, mixers, oscillators, and antennas, for defense applications.
- Testing and Characterization: Support the testing and characterization of RF circuits and systems using laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
- Prototype Development: Participate in the prototyping and assembly of RF components and systems for evaluation and testing purposes.
- Documentation: Create and maintain accurate documentation, including schematics, layout files, test plans, and reports, for RF circuit designs and testing activities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including RF engineers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful project execution.
- Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot RF-related issues during design, testing, and integration phases, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in RF engineering and defense-related technologies.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in RF circuit design and testing, preferably in the defense industry (internships or co-op experience will be considered).
- Strong understanding of RF engineering principles, including RF circuit theory, transmission line theory, and RF system architecture.
- Experience with laboratory equipment and test instrumentation for RF measurements and analysis.
- Familiarity with RF PCB layout techniques and RF circuit fabrication processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for security clearance may be required.
