This position is onsite at Banner Thunderbird Medial Center. In this role you would work Monday-Friday from 8-5 on site with rotating on-call every 10 weeks.

CORE FUNCTIONS

  • Maintains knowledge of standard work routines, equipment and day-to-day activities and/or routines.
  • Applies intermediate level instructions and procedures to resolve information technology related problems of varying complexity. Chooses best alternative from group of known possibilities. Demonstrates flexibility to adapt to various situations.
  • Demonstrates communication skills. Self-directed in completing daily responsibility. Demonstrates initiative in timely completion of assigned task. Responds to standard requests from internal and/ or external customers. Interacts primarily with department peers and/ or personnel, internal and external customers.
  • Completes assignments within established procedures. Frequent review of work results. Maintains an organized and clean environment.
  • Maintains current professional and technical knowledge relating to the healthcare industry by attending educational workshops/conferences, establishing personal networks, and/or maintaining relevant certification or licensure as business needs require.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree or two years of related experience in Information Technology is required.

Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and interact with various levels of customer and support groups. Requires communication and presentation and organizational skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences. Requires ability to communicate and interact across all services and at various levels. Must have knowledge of Information Technology in a fast-paced environment. Requires exceptional communication, both written and verbal.

Working variable shifts and hours and carrying/responding to a pager may be required.
