Solar Installer

RNWBL is a well-known solar company currently looking for motivated and enthusiastic Solar Installers to join our traveling operations crews.

RNWBL operates in all areas of the solar industry, including utility, commercial, and residential.

Solar Installers play a key role in our installation teams, working collaboratively to install solar arrays at residential sites.

Installers and their teams are responsible for ensuring accurate and timely installations, updating Managers on project progress, and following the best installation and safety practices.

Installers prioritize the company's strategies to maintain a high-performance work environment.


Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to complete projects following established policies and procedures.
• Interpret building plans for roof and ground-mounted arrays.
• Assemble solar array racking, seal roof penetrations, and install mounting equipment accurately.
• Maintain high levels of quality assurance and safety.
• Identify and troubleshoot system malfunctions.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with the installation team, addressing questions and concerns effectively.
• Perform electrical tasks such as crimping MC4 ends, bending EMT, and managing wires.
• Engage in general construction activities using hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Fulfill any other assigned duties.

Educational, professional and/or other requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in solar installation and electrical work.
• Knowledge of general construction including roofing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Clear background check and DMV record.
• Full-time travel role with flexibility in hours.
• Experience with electrical work and relevant codes and regulations.
• Compliance with safety requirements.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Ability to innovate and work in a team environment.
• High integrity and energy levels.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this role, the employee must:

• Have mobility in upper and lower body for various positions.
• Lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work in outdoor weather conditions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Electrical Experience Required.
• NABCEP Certification preferred.
• Tesla Power Wall/Battery Storage Experience Preferred
