    Position Title: Tax Analyst

    Salary: $45,000 to $75,000 annually DOE

    Job Summary: The Tax Analyst will oversee various tax processing tasks for Ziply Fiber, ensuring accurate and timely filings of different taxes and regulatory requirements. This role will involve collaborating with service providers and acting as the main contact for tax-related inquiries from business owners.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Aggregate monthly tax data from multiple systems.
    • Coordinate with external partners for regulatory filings.
    • Assist in transitioning tax preparation in-house.
    • Monitor customer exemptions and reconcile tax returns.
    • Create tax-specific documentation and handle tax-related inquiries.
    • Manage tax compliance and perform other related duties.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
    • 2+ years' experience in sales and use tax.
    • Experience with telecommunication taxes preferred.
    • Proficiency in large tax platforms and Excel.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.
    • Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

    Physical Requirements: The role may involve sitting, standing, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

    Work Environment: Primarily office-based with computer use and communication equipment.
