Responsibilities


Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Sales Manager - AI & HPC will be driving the revenue growth within the GPU cloud computing and colocation services sector.

With a commitment to transparency and strategic alignment, responsibilities include maintaining a well-organized sales pipeline, collaborating with cross-functional teams for pipeline optimization, and ensuring a customer-centric approach through the gathering and leveraging of customer feedback for continuous improvement.


This position requires a keen understanding of market dynamics and the ability to offer strategic recommendations based on these insights, customer feedback, and emerging industry trends.

As a key representative of the company, exceptional networking skills are essential for building and maintaining relationships within the industry and at various events.


Specific Responsibilities include:


  • 40% 75% travel required specifically to the San Francisco / Silicon Valley area and Vancouver.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth in the GPU cloud computing and colocation services space.
  • Regularly report to the executive leadership team on key performance indicators, lead generation, and revenue projections.
  • Analyze and present market insights, highlighting opportunities and risks.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline, ensuring transparency and strategic alignment.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize pipeline efficiency.
  • Champion a customercentric approach, gathering and leveraging customer feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and present customer retention strategies, contributing to overall business success.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to manage and optimize the budget for sales activities.
  • Offer strategic recommendations based on market dynamics, customer feedback, and industry trends.
  • Work closely with the executive team to refine and optimize business development strategies.
  • Utilize exceptional networking skills to build and maintain relationships within the industry and with potential clients.
  • Act as a key representative of the company in industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities.
  • Prepare research pieces, presentations and analysis on key issues facing the business.
  • External relations including driving outbound messaging into financial communications channels and conferences aligned with IREN's AI/HPC strategy.
  • Input, as required, into relevant documents including investor presentations, monthly and quarterly reports, and website content.
  • Input, as required, into the company's Annual Report and related filings.

Desired Skills, Qualifications and Competencies include:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field, an MBA is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and customer acquisition, preferably in the technology or data center industry.
  • Can work independently but also contribute effectively within a cross functional teambased framework.
  • Proficiency in analyzing, manipulating, and presenting data to inform decisionmaking and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Proactive selfstarter with strong sense of ownership and motivation, with demonstrated commitment to the values of environment, quality and continuous improvement.
  • A track record of setting and achieving ambitious sales targets.
  • The ability to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ability to plan and execute to a timeline.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to think critically and commercially.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
