About the roleResponsibilities include:
- Operate various pieces of equipment and machinery to facilitate the receipt, transfer, stockpile, process, and unloading of municipal solid waste into the refuse pit using a frontend loader, skid steer, sweeper, etc.
- Maintain effective equipment checks (pre and postoperations)
- Ensure employees conduct business in a safe manner and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform facility inspection checks as assigned by Supervisor.
Position Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must have prior experience operating heavy equipment including, but not limited to excavators, frontend loaders, and sweepers.
- A valid driver's license and any applicable regulatory licensing are required. Possessing a CDL license is a bonus.
- Must be flexible to work rotating shifts

- Ability to work outside in the elements.
- Class A CDL Driver's License (preferred)
