WHAT YOU'LL DO
We make an extraordinary product that requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to unmatched quality standards. As our Lead CMM Quality Technician, you'll be our gatekeeper focused on quality inspection.

You'll make sure the incoming inspection process is implemented and maintained in a manner that ensures all parts that go into Seakeepers meet the highest quality standards.

You'll ensure all products running through this process meet the defined requirements by:


  • Reviewing drawing specifications for incoming production parts, first articles, and prototypes
  • Having ownership of incoming inspection process and documentation (rates, methods, and timely responses to new issues)
  • Establishing and maintaining PPAP documentation and protocols as well as recording of periodic destructive and nondestructive testing
  • Programming of bridgestyle CMM utilizing PC-DMIS software
  • Analyzing, identifying, documenting, and reporting nonconforming products in terms of GD&T
  • Suggesting corrections to documentation based on CMM programming and/or inspection results
  • Interfacing with Engineering, Production, and the Warehouse regarding part flow and drawing correction
  • Supporting quality perspective in the Engineering Change Request (ECN) process
  • Completing special projects as assigned

MUST-HAVES

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 24 years of experience operating and programming an automated CMM utilizing PCDMIS software
  • 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment in a quality inspection role familiar with the following:
  • Experience working with inspection equipment and tools
  • Ability to perform precision manual measurements
  • Superior ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to work well in Microsoft Office Products specifically Word and Excel
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and customercentric attitude at all times
  • Strong analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Superior time management, multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently
NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Postsecondary education or related training and certifications
  • Machining experience
  • Knowledge of corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
  • Experience with CAD software platforms

MORE DETAILS YOU'LL WANT TO KNOW

  • You'll be based in our Leesport, PA facility fulltime
  • Occasional travel (up to 10%) to facilitate identification and containment of issues at vendors, or in our warehouse
  • Onthejob training will be provided (we will help you become the Seakeeper expert)
  • This is a first shift position Monday
  • Thursday 6 am 4:30 pm
  • You'll report to the Quality Supervisor, also based in PA

You will be nestled within our Operations department.

It is a small, but mighty team that ties together the sourcing of high-quality parts from reputable vendors with the meticulous manufacturing of Seakeeper units.

With cross-department collaboration and interaction with external partners, you'll gain knowledge across the various areas of the Operations department, so you'll be able to own your role and bring new ideas to the table to improve processes and results.
