Your responsibilities as a freight forwarder

  • Organizing and handling national and international transports
  • Selecting suitable transport service providers and negotiating freight conditions
  • Creating shipping documents and customs documents
  • Monitoring delivery dates and ensuring timely delivery
  • Communicating with customers, suppliers, and freight partners

Qualifications for success as a freight forwarder

  • Completed training as a freight forwarder or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in the freight or logistics industry is advantageous
  • Proficient in relevant software applications (e.g. SAP, MS Office)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Independent and structured way of working
