The University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville is the largest of the three UF colleges - medicine, nursing, and pharmacy - located on the approximately 110-acre UF Health Jacksonville campus. The college's 16 clinical science departments house more than 440 faculty members and 380 residents and fellows. The UF College of Medicine Jacksonville is affiliated with UF Health in Jacksonville, a health system comprised of two hospitals - the 603-bed UF Health Jacksonville and 92-bed UF Health North, and more than 60 primary and specialty care practices throughout Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.
The division of neurodevelopmental pediatrics brings together teams of specialists including therapists, counselors, psychologists, and physicians to work with children at risk for learning, behavioral or developmental delays. The division evaluates and treats children with delays that may be overcome with early treatment, as well as lifelong conditions that may be alleviated with ongoing support and appropriate interventions.
