Description

Innovative Midwest engineering firm is hiring a Structural Engineer to join their team

Responsibilities:

Plans, schedules, conducts and/or coordinates engineering work for a wide range of project types and materials
Perform conventional engineering duties as well as more complex tasks (conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, difficult coordination requirements
Prepare structural calculations and plan layouts
Perform construction administration tasks including completing RFI's, submittal review, and site observation visits
Comply with project schedules
Monitor project progress using input from Project Manager
Represent firm at external meetings
May supervise/train junior staff

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum
5+ years of experience
PE License
SE License preferred
Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit
Member of professional organization preferred

Salary is commensurate with experience.
