AKCG - Public Relations Counselors a national public relations firm is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our growing team. This stellar individual will provide
full-time, in-office administrative and clerical support to AKCG's team and Glassboro, N.J., office.


Daily Responsibilities include:


  • Provide administrative support to agency principals (the CEO and the President): vet and book appointments, coordinate travel plans, etc.
  • Answer/direct incoming calls to appropriate team members; take messages
  • Direct/respond to job/internship website inquiries
  • Greet visitors and determine access to appropriate team members
  • Banking support: deposit checks
  • Maintain firm mailing list; support with timekeeping system
  • Run businessrelated errands, as needed coordinate/pick up/set up lunches, food, supplies, etc.
  • Anticipate agency principals' needs
  • Exercise a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Other duties as assigned

Weekly/Bi-weekly Responsibilities include:


  • Manage receipts/expenses for leadership team
  • Participate in firm leadership team meetings, keep agency principals on point
  • Reconcile credit card statements and track expenses

Monthly responsibilities include:


  • Run backups on AKCG Sharepoint network

As needed:


  • Prepare conference rooms for meetings
  • Manage firm subscriptions
  • Assist with onboarding new employees
  • Assist with light activities
  • Support marketing activities, especially supporting firm conferences and exhibits and mailings
  • Assist with planning firm retreats and coordinating travel for remote employees
  • Manage office supply inventory
  • Ensure operation of office equipment; schedule maintenance as needed

Qualifications:


  • High school education with a preference of an additional two to four years of university or trade school; or administrative training in business, office administration or secretarial service
  • Two to four years equivalent experience, preferably in a professional services or creative services environment
  • Ability to make solid decisions, problem solve and multitask
  • Solid organizational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Ability to work independently or with little or no supervision
  • Proactive, selfstarter
  • Friendly, upbeat attitude

Salary:
Commensurate with experience, beginning at $50,000 per year.
