Health Informatics and Interoperability Data Architect
Key Role:

Design, develop, and implement solutions for software integration projects and coordinate applications across functions or between organizations. Ensure the integration of projects meets the requirements of the organizations. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work with minimal direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in HL7 integration with Interface Engines, including Rhapsody and Mirth
5+ years of experience with scripting, database, and data science tools, and public health surveillance and laboratory solutions systems
Experience working with and advising senior-level clients
Experience with data exchange hubs and transport mechanisms
Experience participating in component and data architecture design, and performance monitoring
Knowledge of systems analysis, design, development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies to develop quality technical solutions
Ability to present to clients on interoperability solutions, architecture, and technical recommendations
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain services of existing HL7 transaction generation and processing code
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

Experience with State Health Departments
Experience with ELR, ETOR, eCR, MMG, and APHL
Experience with SQL
Knowledge of biology with emphasis on microbiology
Master's degree in Business, Management, Public Health, or Health Informatics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
