Description

The specialist for food technology performs a responsible role in the production of soft drinks and mineral water in Saylorsburg. These employees are active, versatile, technically and manually oriented individuals. Their tasks include working with computers and process controls, as well as being determined and working in a team.

The training is carried out in a "dual" manner, meaning both in the workplace and in school.

The training covers the following topics:

  • Checking incoming goods
  • Storing, cleaning and checking raw materials, auxiliary materials and operating materials
  • Conducting quality controls and implementing quality concepts
  • Understanding processing processes
  • Setting up, monitoring and maintaining machines
  • Filling and packaging of goods
  • Hygiene in production

Workplace/school training

The dual training takes place at the Treuchtlingen plant in the production halls and facilities. The food technology specialists attend vocational school in Kulmbach, with classes taking place in blocks. This means that you will be in the school facility for one to two weeks per month.
