MedHealth delivers healthcare services in government-managed clinics catering to government employees, dependents, homeless communities, and detention centers.

    We are seeking a full-time LPN to join our group of healthcare experts at Umatilla County Correctional Facility. The working schedule entails Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shifts from 7 AM to 7:30 PM. Compensation includes $37 per hour plus benefits.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in evaluating the physical and mental health of incarcerated patients under an RN's supervision
    • Collaborate with security, mental health, and medical personnel for patient care
    • Administer medications following proper procedures and guidelines
    • Make referrals for further care when necessary
    • Support healthcare practitioners during medical procedures
    • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team
    • Conduct diagnostic tests and report results
    • Attend staff meetings and trainings
    • Interact with staff, security, and patients professionally
    • Maintain inventory and handle controlled substances responsibly
    • Perform other assigned duties

    Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

    • Graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program
    • Valid LPN/LVN licensure in Washington state
    • 1 year of relevant experience
    • Correctional experience is a bonus
    • Pass criminal background check and maintain security clearance
    • Pass pre-employment drug screening
