This individual must possess a strong work ethic and communication skills.

We are offering a salary ($25-30 per Hour), based on experience and a competitive benefit package which includes paid vacation, paid company holidays, 401 (K) with company matching, pension, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage for a full-time employee.

This position will report daily to our Lafayette office and working hours are 8am-5pm with one hour lunch.


What You'll Do:


  • Serve as the first point of contact for Huston team members regarding their technical needs and keep them informed of the progress to resolve their issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Manage Huston's help desk and coordinate with Network Administrator and Huston team members to prioritize and manage multiple employee issues promptly.
  • Exercise excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrate strong problemsolving and technical troubleshooting skills.

Who We're Looking For:


  • Bachelor's or associate's degree is preferred.
  • 1+ years providing break/fix & preventative support to Windows environments.
  • 12+ years prior field service experience.
  • Minimum one of the following certifications (two preferred):
  • CompTIA_(A+, Network+, Security+, Server+, Project+, Cloud+)_
  • Microsoft_(MCSE, MCSA, MCITP, MCP, MCDST)_
  • Cisco _CCST/CCNA_
  • Windows Server & Desktop OS (Windows 10+, Server 2012 R2+)
  • Familiarity with Networking, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, and other technologies
  • Fundamental network (LAN/WAN) architecture
  • Networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP)
  • Ability to prioritize IT requests to support a remote workforce.
