The Leipzig Diakonie Hospice is a newly established inpatient hospice in the northern part of Leipzig, where 12 hospice guests will receive holistic care and support.

We place special emphasis on creating an atmosphere of warmth and security, where both life and dying can be experienced with the dignity given to us by God.

We are currently seeking a part-time administrative employee (m/f/d) to join and support our team at the Leipzig Diakonie Hospice starting on July 1st, 2023.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification, with previous work experience in administration
  • A confident demeanor, strong organizational skills, and a friendly attitude towards guests, their families, colleagues, and business partners
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • The ability to work independently, with a high level of commitment, resilience, and creativity
  • Discretion, loyalty, and teamwork
  • Identification with the company's goals and the Christian values of diakonia (service to others)

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the facility management in all organizational and administrative matters
  • Office organization and tasks (mail, phone, scheduling and coordination of appointments, travel planning and organization, filing management, archiving), business correspondence
  • Assisting with fundraising and donation management
  • Timely followup
