The Vice President of Marketing leads the marketing planning process to support overall strategic plans of the corporation with an emphasis on global brand development.
- Develop and implement marketing plans to support the company's aggressive growth strategy.
- Create a culture of success, creativity, and timely results achievement.
- Support and drive marketing activities to support successful new product launches
- Drive a bestinclass online presence with ecommerce partners and on the company's owned web properties. Achieve excellence in online content across the board.
- Supervise and direct initiatives to ensure that product packaging designs meet the needs for functionality and marketplace excellence.
- Drive a bestinclass social media presence that drive organic user engagement with the brand and supports awareness for key initiatives, such as new product launches.
- Manage the planning and implementation of advertising and promotional activities. Assist with key customer relationships to close strategic opportunities.
- Oversee Company's participation in trade shows and assure effective implementation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required, Masters Degree a plus with at least ten (10) years in an increasingly responsible marketing position - must have experience in: product management, advertising, public relations, social media.
At least five (5) years of applied management experience in a sales/marketing environment and three (3) years International experience is required.
Must be very flexible, an effective "team player" type of individual, and able to adapt in rapidly changing market/management environments.
Physical Demand Requirements
Occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Travel Requirements10% (3 days per month)
