What are your responsibilities?

  • Consulting our customers on grid connection of renewable energy systems in Germany
  • Planning, project management, and design of substations, transfer stations, and cable networks including technical specifications and tender documents
  • Designing grid connections in compliance with relevant guidelines
  • Conducting grid calculations and economic evaluation of grid connection concepts
  • Negotiating with grid operators, station suppliers, cable and construction companies
  • Managing the grid connection process from application to commissioning of the systems
  • Conducting on-site inspections of systems

What should you bring?

  • Degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, or equivalent education; alternatively, extensive experience as a technician
  • Experience in grid connection planning (e.g. through background in renewable energy, utility, or industrial sector), preferably in high voltage level
  • Experience in conducting grid calculations and working with relevant software (e.g. DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS SINCAL, etc.) is a plus
  • Knowledge of relevant norms and guidelines (VDE-AR-N 4110, VDE-AR-N 4120, etc
