    Description
    Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in New York, NY. This is a 12 + month contract position.

    Responsibilities:
    Develop, enhance, and support a range of critical applications
    Liaise with both technical and business colleagues locally and internationally
    Work as part of a wider development team
    Work individually or part of a team on developing, supporting, enhancing, extending, testing, and delivering existing and new software
    Collaborate and work with multi-regional teams using Agile best practices
    Participate in software design, development, testing, L3 support, requirements gathering and creating functional specifications documents


    Requirements:
    Deep functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.)
    Understanding of API design and documentation

    MS SQL Server TSQL, SSIS SSRS, Git/Bitbucket, Autosys or similar job scheduler, .NET framework 4.5+ / .Net CORE (C#), Python, REST Web API, Angular, JavaScript, ASP.

    Net MVC
    Aptitude for problem analysis and resolution and eye for details
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Good 'team player' and the ability to work independently
    Keen sense of innovation, with valuable suggestions of new ideas, ways of working, and technologies


    Pay Range:
    $ $69.60

    Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
