Definitive Brewing Company is a fast growing and highly rated craft brewery. We manage one of the largest self-distribution networks in Maine. This position plays a vital role in the execution of our self-distribution model.
Position Overview:
The primary role of the Delivery Driver will be to safely and efficiently deliver products to accounts and payment collection.
This includes activities related to delivery such as sorting orders, truck loading, keg collection, customer inventory review, and data entry, as well as performing other tasks as deemed necessary by any member of the Brewery's management team and the Sales and Distribution Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities and Duties:
Take primary responsibility and accountability for:
- Safely load vehicles with product and equipment
- Organize distribution vehicles for efficient delivery and safe transport
- Safe and efficient delivery of product as defined by customer requirements
- Collection of payment
- Interact professionally with customers
- Pickup empty kegs and expired product
- Perform draft line cleaning
- Adhere to all professional appearance requirements (clothing, footwear, etc.)
- Maintain client and sales information as required
- Maintain keg and tap handle distribution records as required
- Check distribution vehicles for safety/maintenance issues prior to leaving the facility and throughout the day.
- Maintain distribution vehicles in a clean & orderly manner
