    Qualifications:
    • Applicant must be enrolled in a NASP accredited School Psychology graduate program and meet the requirements to begin internship.
    • Coursework and beginning experience in psychological and educational testing
    • Familiar with state and federal special education regulations
    • Possess strong interpersonal skills
    Performance Responsibilities:
    • Perform psychological services for Milford School District under the direction of a School Psychologist.
    • Administer and interpret psychological evaluations.
    • Complete written evaluation reports, progress notes and letters.
    • Review assessment information from providers to determine eservice options to meet the needs of students.
    • Review students' cumulative records.
    • Review referrals for testing, determine additional information needed
    • Conduct classroom observations.
    • Consultant to, and/or designer of, programs to meet the needs of students with diverse educational and emotional characteristics.
    • Consult with school personnel and family members.
    • Conduct individual and group therapy.
    • Participate in IEP meetings.
    • Maintain student records and protect their confidentiality.
    Terms of Employment: Salary and work year to be according to the current stipend amount. Ten-month (10) assignment.

    Salary and Benefits: School Psychology Interns will receive a yearly competitive stipend.

    Evaluation: Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the intern's graduate program and the Milford School District.

    • Adherence to School District Policies
    • Milford Board of Education Approval
