Achieves an in-depth understanding of the assigned software, policies and procedures, and workflows.

  • Actively participates on project teams by engaging in discussions regarding building, testing, and maintaining the training environment, as well as the development and maintenance of training materials for the training and optimization programs.
  • Analyzes, designs, builds, and tests training environments.
  • Conducts virtual, instructorled, classroom training sessions, inservices, group and individual instruction.
  • Maintains strong relationships with analysts supporting the build environment and review appropriate Epic documentation to ensure that changes to the environment are appropriately communicated, incorporated into training curriculum, and built into the training environment.
  • Creates enduser proficiency assessments and ensure that they appropriately assess knowledge gained during virtual, instructorled, or CBL training.
  • Maintains a current understanding of the credentialing process. Coordinate and lead credentialing of new trainers as required.
  • Works with the analyst team to ensure that migrations are appropriately accounted for in the training environments.
  • Participates in rebuilds of the training environment, as required by operational and technical needs.
  • Participates in the system testing process for new functionality or system upgrades.
  • Develops and maintains training exercises, test patients and materials for users of the EHR

Position Compensation Range:
$ $47.26 Hourly


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:
Bachelor's degree


Experience: 3 years relevant experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Licensure:
Epic Certification, or able to obtain within 6 months of hire date.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires sitting for prolonged periods. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly.
