Key responsibilities
- Design and implement procurement strategies and procedures to support business growth
- Defining material ordering patterns and tracking of materials for high moving materials
- Tracking of material spend at each site to ensure that corporate guidelines are being adhered to
- Managing material planning for each new product/customer launch
- Assisting in root cause analysis during the case of material outages and developing action plans
- Accountable for the implementation of MRP process, master material planning for all sites
- Analyze sales forecast/past demand for material demand and review against ERP systematic needs
- Prepare raw material forecasts to for each site with consideration for seasonality, upcoming customer needs, plant developments, etc.
- Work crossfunctionally with other departments to assist in driving business needs and meeting forecasted targets
- Support multiple manufacturing facilities across North America
- Effective communication skills both internally and externally
- Assist in material escalation for issues and root cause analysis
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in Sourcing or related field
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply chain, Business or other related field
- Experience in Manufacturing setting and knowledge of ERP systems
- Ability to travel up to 20%
Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as purchasing manager or related field
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAGE X3)
- Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at one time
- Ability to delegate
- Strong sense of urgency
- Proficient in Excel
Pay:
$80, $88,765.00 per year
