VDH Office of Information Management is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support the ongoing maintenance and integration efforts of ServiceNow environment and that can assist with upcoming implementations.
Senior Service Now Developer responsibilities includes but not limited to:- Under general direction, independently develops, maintains and extends a stable production, development and testing middleware infrastructure while extending the functionality and enabling developers to use it via mentoring and formal training.
- Independently develops, modifies, and implements moderately to highly complex information systems that are thorough and accurate and conform to MST standards.
- Codes, tests, debugs, and documents assignments of moderate to high complexity
- Independently researches and resolves more complex technical problems.
- May serve as project manager or team lead on complex projects.
- Based on customer requirements, formulates/defines systems scope and objectives
- Researches, develops, codes or modifies architecture components that are well designed, efficient and conform to MST architectural standards.
- When assuming the project manager role, manages daytoday projectrelated activities for projects of moderate to high complexity.
- Integrate the Solution with client HR Systems
- Configure ServiceNow Solutions for a federal client.
- Integrate the solution with client HR Systems such as HRIS and Applicant tracking systems.
- Engage with customers to understand and document requirements.
Preferred Qualifications (Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications)
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
- Work experience in public health care setting.
- Senior ServiceNow developer with experience with ITSM integrations, end to end testing, etc.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to maintain documentation, manage change management processes and ensure policies & procedures are being followed, maintain backlog, etc.
- Experience with the ServiceNow modules: HAM & SAM, FSM, EC Pro, etc.
Bachelor's degree in a field related to computer science, information technology or related fields
A background in IT service management software, particularly ServiceNow.
ServiceNow certification
JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
Developers must understand business operation and processes to create solutions that cater to the organization's needs.
