Sweet Desires Espresso bar & café is looking for flexible, trustworthy, and customer-focused baristas to join our growing team.

We are looking for experienced baristas who enjoy serving customers and working in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of professionalism.

Baristas at Sweet Desires will be working with the very best equipment and Specialty Coffee in world — A La Marzocco KB90 Coffee Machine with multiple boilers and built in scales, 2 Mahlkonigs E65 Grind By Weight Grinders also with built in scales and a Mahlkonig EK 43 Grinder.

Fun Times Coffee '5 Origin' Blend and Single Origins (Filter & Espresso) from all over the world will be served at Sweet Desires.

You will be responsible for providing great service to customers, ensuring the coffee shop is clean, tidy, and well-stocked, and making a wide range of both hot and iced drinks as well as food


Responsibilities include:

Taking orders from customers and dealing with queries Ensuring the display is always well stocked Preparing food and drinks carefully and to our high standards Managing stock levels and identifying ordering requirements Cleaning equipment, work surfaces, and public areas Cash handling and ensuring all sales are processed accurately through POS system Qualifications: - A love of delicious coffee.

- Strong food service background

• Strong barista experience (latte art experience a must)
• Has experience working on the La Marzocco espresso machines
• Ability to stay cool under pressure.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work mornings and weekends.
• Ability to stand for a while and lift up to 30lbs.
• A detailoriented approach.
• Accountability and reliability

Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
