THE JOB:
As a Parking Ambassador, you will be part of a service-orientated team that invites guests in for an exciting yet comfortable urban adventure.
Your compassionate attendance to customer needs will serve as an inspiration to teammates, and provide the kind of energized, comfortable atmosphere.
You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their time with us.
STARTING RATE:
$14.86/hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Fixed Post Assignment:
- Be stationed at a fixed post to monitor the entry and exit of vehicles.
- Ensure that only authorized guests and employees access the parking area or garage.
Verification Duties:
- Check for MGM Rewards card and employee badges.
Rotation Schedule:
- Rotate to a different post every 2 hours to cover various areas.
- Stay alert and maintain a high level of vigilance during each shift.
Guest Service Experience:
- Provide a welcoming and friendly experience to all guests.
- Offer assistance with directions within the facility or general information about the premises.
- Respond promptly to any inquiries or requests from guests and employees.
Traffic Flow Management:
- Manage the flow of traffic to prevent congestion.
- Guide vehicles to appropriate parking spots or direct them to alternative parking if necessary.
Safety and Security:
- Keep an eye out for any suspicious activity and report it to security.
- Ensure the safety of pedestrians in the parking area.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Experience:
-
Minimum of 6 months of experience in a front-facing guest service role.
- A history of positive guest interactions and conflict resolution.
Education:
-
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

Personality:

Personable and approachable demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
Other Qualifications:
- Knowledge of local area and directions to assist guests.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
SCHEDULE:
- _Must be able to work below shifts, to include weekends and holidays._
Swing Shift: 3:00PM to 11:45PM
Grave Shift: 11:00PM to 7:45AM
