- Coordinating and supervising Cross Country program and team.
- Promote an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Designing a training program and meet program.
- Assuring that the program is properly implemented.
- Communicate effectively with the Assistant Cross Country Coaches.
- React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned.
- Help students achieve gains in athletic skill and team performance.
- Attend and be actively engaged in meetings that are called by the head coach throughout the sports season.
- Develop team rules, communicate them to the players and their parents, and equitably enforce them.
- Ensure that student athletes meet eligibility rules.
- Ensure the continual supervision of student athletes
- Other duties as assigned by the Activities Director, Principal, or other Administrative Staff.

Salary: $3,874 - $4,304 (DOE)
SUMMARY:
The Assistant Cross Country Coach promotes an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The Assistant Cross Country Coach provides assistance to the Head Cross COuntry Coach in leadership and supervision for team and individual sports, and works closely with the other coaches.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledge of the sport is required. Previous coaching experience is preferred.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
This position is directly supervised by the Head Coach.
