Intake Coordinator Opportunity - Part Time, Weekends


We are hiring for a part time Intake Coordinator to work every Saturday 3pm - 11pm and every other Sunday 3pm - 11pm.

We are also open to hiring for a per diem Intake Coordinator.


Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed acute care, inpatient behavioral health facility located south of Boston, in Pembroke, MA. Situated on 26 acres, we offer inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment to teens, adults and older adults, and our services are designed to assess, stabilize, and treat patients by addressing their primary symptoms and problems. The Intake Coordinator is a liaison between the community, individuals, referral sources and the hospital. This is a Part Time position that requires working every weekend.


Responsibilities

  • Facilitates internal calls and faxes to Pembroke Hospital regarding referrals/admissions from referral sources including insurance verification, eligibility and authorization
  • Ensures timely processing of assessments and completes related paperwork
  • Responsible for data entry of patients into Pembroke system as well as ability to pull and analyze data
  • Responsible for building positive relationships with referral sources, external call outs to providers/ED/referrals sources multiple times a day all under the supervision of the Intake Supervisors

  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Preferred 1+ years' of behavioral health experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
