The Millsdale Plant has an opening for a Maintenance Execution Manager.

The Maintenance Execution Manager is responsible for providing leadership and direction of site level maintenance and contractor maintenance teams to deliver safe and timely maintenance and construction execution in support of company site goals and objectives.

This role supports mechanical integrity, reliability and overall asset performance, sets targets and oversees cost.

This role in partnership with functional counterparts, governs safety, environmental, quality and cost objectives while driving continuous maintenance operations improvement.


  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Directs maintenance crews in the execution of installation, repair, reliability and preventive maintenance tasks for assets used across the manufacturing plant and utilities to ensure asset integrity and maximize utilization. Drives compliance to daily, weekly, monthly and annual schedules and compliance to all processes, meetings and procedures associated with the area's Management Operating System.
  • Ensure mechanics comply with all procedures and specifications. Manage any personnel, union / grievance, coaching, and disciplinary action
  • Oversees daily maintenance execution activities in compliance the MOWP (Maintenance Operations Work Process) program. Partners with Operations to identify, prioritize, and execute work to ensure stable operations, improve reliability, and reduce downtime across assets.
  • Ensures installation and maintenance of assets are executed in a timely manner and properly coordinated with maintenance planning and production to accomplish equipment and facility repairs in an efficient, effective and timely manner. Provides input into the development of maintenance plans and schedules to ensure corrective and preventative work is prioritized and executed effectively. Monitors any project / repair / replace activities and tracks progress to completion.
  • Ensures all equipment for maintenance work (as required) is secured in compliance with lockout/tagout (LOTO) policy and procedures to safeguard people and assets from hazardous events. Conducts audits to ensure all necessary assets are shut down, inoperable and safe to perform work. Ensures tagging and documentation to alert others to status of engaging with asset.
  • Accountable for ensuring proper allocation / utilization of maintenance contractors onsite and proper management and control of value for time. Review daily labor schedule requirements and balance staffing levels and overtime as necessary. Oversees maintenance resources to ensure appropriate and efficient deployment of manpower.
  • Ensure daily work orders are properly queued and assigned to ensure mínimal staff/contractor downtime. Conducts routine job visits throughout day to ensure productivity and safety.
  • Ensure the safe maintenance of plant and equipment in line within internal and regulatory requirements (site and corporate policies/procedures)
  • Accept responsibility for teams housekeeping standards within area
  • Responsible for flawless execution of work permits
  • Ensure HECPs are complete and correct
  • Complete toolbox talks with mechanics

Qualifications:


  • 5 years of relevant experience required; 8 years preferred
  • 3 or more years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to understand P&ID's, equipment manuals and drawings
  • Working knowledge of key assets, parts, etc. required to carry out site operations
  • Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Electrical experience preferred

Education:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
