Maintenance Technician

Wage - $24.67 per hour

Location:
Edison Job Corps Center

Schedule - Full Time, 8hr shifts (12:00 pm - 9:00 pm), Monday - Friday

What you will be doing:

You'll be responsible for performing center maintenance and repair in one of the following specialized crafts, heating, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC systems in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential functions:

Order materials required to perform work, prepare the required paperwork to reflect cost, use of materials and other data for accounting purposes.
Perform maintenance and repair to structures, electrical systems, heating, plumbing, air conditioning and drainage systems throughout the center.
Repair or replace faulty or damaged light fixtures, outlets, fuses as directed.
Perform minor construction and repair of structural woodwork.
Install window shades or coverings and security locks.
