Position Description:


These are temporary positions available from June through November (hurricane season) with assignments typically lasting from 3 weeks to up to 3 months.

Full-time and part-time positions are available. Position is fully remote and minimum pay will be $24.76/hour.


As a Customer Service Supervisor, you can expect to:

  • Utilize a virtual web based desktop to oversee the work of a team of up to 20 call agents who handle assist Florida Citizens Property Insurance policyholders and insurance agents.
  • Attend operational meeting and monitor the quality of up to 20 call agents to ensure compliance with Citizens program training, and all applicable guidelines and/or policies.
  • Oversee the workforce to ensure all team members have an approved schedule and complete timecards and other administrative deliverables timely and accurately
  • Provide regular written and oral communications to program management, and other key internal and external stakeholders in regards to program compliance, schedules, risks, issues, personnel actions and other program matters
  • Answer complex or simple questions related to a specific insurance form, policy, procedure and/or guideline.
  • Be able to provide fluent efficient, empathetic and accurate customer service in a professional manner for extended periods of time, in both English and Spanish language.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a HS Diploma.
  • 02 years of related experience.
  • Complete the Citizens' Underwriting Trainee Program which typically is completed within 8 hours.
  • Have access to a personal computer or laptop to access the web based system.
