Summary:


This role is responsible for leading project management initiatives, driving change and continuous improvement recommendations for all aspects of materials and inventory management within Quera.

The Manager will enhance and implement best practices to ensure accurate inventory counts, controls, recurring reporting and reconciliations of inventory, while enhancing quality, delivery, cost performance and vendor management.


Responsibilities:


  • Plan, schedule, and monitor the efficient movement of material from identification of the requirement to delivery to the end user.
  • Optimize inventory control procedures and work with ERP system, inputting and managing data, to create a transparent, efficient management of inventories.
  • Assess suppliers to secure costefficient agreements while preserving trusting relationships.
  • Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules and coordinates material movement.
  • Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to effectively time phase material to service cash flow objectives and program schedules.
  • Monitor and reconcile any relevant Supply Chain disruptions that develop throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Develop strategies, implement plans, and track progress for cost savings initiatives.

Qualifications:


  • BS/BA with at least 7 years of experience of functional and operational experience in the Supply Chain Management and Operations domain, ideally within a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Highlyrefined business acumen with demonstrable expertise in driving bestinclass supply chain processes, efficiencies policies, tools and regulations.
  • Experience in driving to resolution complex supplier issues in collaboration with suppliers, engineering, scientists and related internal teams.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office suite, procurement and ERP systems/tools
