Executive Coach

Position Description:

Sprezzatura is seeking an Executive Coach to support senior personnel within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), particularly those involved with the Office of Enterprise Integration (OEI).

The Executive Coach will engage with executive clients in a dynamic, supportive partnership aimed at maximizing their professional potential and facilitating successful career transitions within the federal government context.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive Coaching:

Partner with senior VA executives to provide thoughtprovoking insights and guidance, helping them identify and achieve personal and professional goals.
Use a variety of coaching techniques tailored to individual client needs to enhance leadership skills, personal growth, and effective decisionmaking.

Career Transition Support:

Assist clients in navigating career transitions, providing expert advice on job search strategies within the federal sector, including resume writing and leveraging federal hiring platforms.
Conduct mock interviews, offering constructive feedback to improve interview techniques and performance.

Skill Development Workshops:

Design and facilitate workshops and seminars on topics such as leadership, strategic communication, team dynamics, and stress management.
Provide tools and resources for ongoing personal and professional development.

Networking and Professional Growth:

Educate and guide clients on networking best practices, building professional relationships, and enhancing visibility and influence within their professional communities. Offer support in understanding and negotiating compensation packages, aligning them with market standards and personal expectations.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Advanced coaching certifications (e.g., ICF Accreditation) preferred.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in executive coaching, career counseling, or in a related advisory role, preferably within government or large organizations.
Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate seniorlevel professionals.
Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the federal employment landscape.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and confidentiality.
Proficient in contemporary digital tools for remote coaching and communication

This position is a hybrid of remote and onsite at VACO headquarters in Washington, D.C.
